Freycinet lodge renewal project

Studio: Liminal Studio

Role: Project Architect / Designer

Client: RACT - Freycinet Lodge

Location: Freycinet National Park, Tasmania

Year: 2016 - 2018

The project included several stages: demolition, the design of nine Coastal Pavilions, six Mountain Terraces, a Lodge King (accessible suite), a new lodge lift, and a Bunk Guesthouse.

This was the first project I worked on after arriving in Tasmania. It was truly incredible to be part of such a spectacular and sensitive location — what a privilege. Looking back now, the best part was working alongside such amazing women!

The Coastal Pavilions have been awarded nationally and internationally, and published in different magazines.

I recently stayed at the Coastal Pavilions — a project I contributed to during my time at LIMINAL.
